Over the years theVanity has had the privilege of finishing some wonderful spots, but we’ve never finished one for ourselves. Radke Films director Michael Clowater and BBDO/Toronto bring beautifully timed comedy to the rolling hills of Uraguay in theVanity’s first promotional piece.
Shooting on a simple DSLR presents all sorts of technical challenges. theVanity’s colourist lent his eyes and his experience to lift the production value with incredible results. What started as two people talking in a field was soon stylized with gorgeous pink, blue, and orange tones.
Along with replacing the sky throughout, theVanity’s artists spent some time designing a super that would be appropriate for the genre of the spot as well as compliment its beauty.
